I need to replace an old wall light. I have the new light just need it to be safely installed.

6 spotlights need rewiring

bulb socket not working

Replacement of rewirable fusebox with consumer unit; providing earth connection to kitchen sockets; supply and install of replacement central heating programmer in new position; earth connections to 2 no power sockets in bed 2; replace existing single power socket in bed 1 and 3 with double and provide extra double in each, isupply and install new double socket in hall; supply and install 4 no double sockets in lounge; refeed existing external terrace light and provide switch; provide certificate for works

Certain sockets do not seem to work or work intermittently, and in one instance a plug seems to have fused to the socket. There is also occasionally crackling coming from the sockets when appliances are plugged in.
