Install earth bonding
Your electrician can install or update earth bonding (also known as equipotential bonding) to current standards. If you have updated or added a new bathroom, or had an old house recently inspected, you may have been advised to upgrade the bonding.Bonding ensures that if the metal parts of your house (e.g. the radiators) accidentally come into contact with a live electrical wire, all the metal parts are connected together so there is no difference in voltage, and therefore no electric shock risk, between different metal things in your house.
